“Meet us in Molong” is a Motorcyclists ride to promote
safety awareness amongst other drivers
Molong will be the hub of a motorcycling wheel in October when riders from the Central West
promote their own and other road users’ safety.
The Central West Motorcycle Safety and Tourism Group is inviting riders from the region to participate in a Motorcycle Awareness Ride and fill the roads in the region with motorcycles on
Sunday, October 25 to increase awareness of other drivers to the presence of motorcycles.
The Central West Motorcycle Awareness Ride attracted over
900 motorcyclists last year.
Riders from throughout the region are inviting friends and travelling to Molong’s main street for lunch
in the pubs, cafes and other food outlets before turning around for the ride home.
A local charity will be running a barbeque.
The Central West Motorcycle Awareness Ride is held in conjunction with
Motorcycle Awareness Week, an initiative of the Motorcycle Council of NSW,
which runs between October 23 - 30 2009.

The Molong community is in a great location. We will happily provide you with plenty to eat and drink from our pubs, bakery, coffee cart and sausage sizzle.
Enjoy live music by 'Stage Frite' + a bike 'show 'n' shine' for your entertainment. Trade stalls welcomed.
Simply get your mates together and ride as a group to arrive in Molong on Sunday morning. The idea is to get as many bikes as possible on the roads to make other motorists more aware of our presence.
